How To Apply

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS APPLICATION DEADLINES:
Oversea and international applicants are required to submit all application items no later than the following dates:

Note:  We encourage you to apply three to eight months ahead of expected enrollment date.  Applications may be submitted after deadline, but will be considered and processed if space is available and if time allows.


Master Programs: ( M.Div., M.A.C.S, Dip.C.S., and L-TIP):
1. Complete the application form and personal testimony.
2. Submit an application fee of US $50.00 (non-refundable).
3. Submit three recent 2x2 photos (The photos should be full face, front view, not over three years.)
4. Submit two references on
form provided.  (China´s applicants need two overseas recommenders).  Please have your recommenders send the completed form to the Admissions Office directly and promptly.
5. Complete the 
temperament questionnaire.
6. Complete the
theological reflection.
7. Request official transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended.  Transcripts must be official that is, mailed directly from your schools in a sealed envelope to the Admissions Office. 
8. Submit a photocopy of your diploma .
9. TOEFL score 45 (TOEFL iBT) (our institutional code is 8548) or IELTS score 5. 
TOEFL / IELTS is not required if the applicant obtained a baccalaureate or higher degree in U.S. or from English speaking and instructing institution. 
10. For LOGOS Total Immersion Program, please also complete the
L-TIP Supplemental Form.
11.Affidavit of Support will be required.


SPECIAL INSTRUCTION:
Divorced/Remarried/Separated: These issues may not disqualify you from seminary studies; however, they have a significant effect on your life and ministry.  Therefore, please submit a 1-2 page, typed statement explaining:

• The general circumstances.  Include counseling and attempts at reconciliation.
• Your view of the biblical teaching on divorce and how your situation relates to that teaching.
• The effect you perceive it having upon your future ministry.

AFTER YOU´VE FILED:
1. You will be notified of items needed to complete your file and the location and time for the entrance examination.  Entrance exam includes Old and New Testaments, and Theological thinking.
2. Upon completion of your file and review by the committee, an admission decision will be made.  Interviews for M.Div program applicants will be conducted during the Admission Committee meeting on the first Friday of each month.  Notification of the decision will be sent by mail.

UPON ACCEPTANCE:
• Remit the Admission Contract letter to the Admissions Office within two weeks.
• Remit the dormitory application form and a required $100 deposit payable to "Logos Evangelical Seminary", and mail to the Office of Student Affairs.
•  Submit the completed I-20 application form and affidavit of support to International Students Office.



Master of Theology (Th. M.):
1.  Complete the application form.
2.  Submit an application fee of US $75.00 (non-refundable).
3.  Submit three recent 2x2 photos (The photos should be full face, front view, not over three years.)
4.  Submit two references (pastor and seminary professor) on forms provided. (China´s applicants need two overseas recommenders).  Please have your recommenders send the completed form to the admissions office directly and promptly.
5.  Complete the temperament questionnaires
6.  Request official transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended.  Transcripts must be official that is, mailed directly from your schools in a sealed envelope to the Admissions Office. 
For Logos graduates, please submit your request to the Academic Office.
7.  Submit a program study plan.
8.  Submit a research paper (double-spaced, 8 pages), preferably published.
9.  TOEFL score: 550 / 79-80 (TOEFL iBT) (our institutional code is 8548) or IELTS score 6.5.
10.  Affidavit of Support will be required.

3.  Submit a ministry report in English (letter size, 2 pages, double spaces).  Please detail the effect of your ministry, and sign your name on the report.
