A general survey of Taiwanˇ¦s church history from the introduction of Christianity to the present. 

CHS541   NORTH AMERICAN CHURCH HISTORY (2)
A general look at the religious scene in America with special emphasis on major historical events and trends, and a look at the historical development of Chinese churches in North America. 

CHS542   THE AMERICAN EVANGELICAL MOVEMENT (2)
A study of the mainstreams of the American Evangelical movement, such as Dispensationalism, Perfectionism, Fundamentalism, the Charismatic movement, and Neo-Evangelicalism. 

CHS551   THE LIFE AND THOUGHT OF AUGUSTINE   (2)
An examination of the life, thought, and influence of Augustine of Hippo, with special attention to the Confessions, City of God, and the anti-Pelagian writings.

An examination of the life, thought, and influence of Thomas Aquinas, with special attention to the Summa Theologica. 

CHS561   THE HISTORY OF SPIRITUAL THEOLOGY (2)
A study of the historical development of the Spiritual Formation movement, with special attention to its meaning in church counseling and spiritual life.

CHS565   THE LOCAL CHURCH MOVEMENT (2)
A study of the roots and development of the ecclesiastic movement led by Watchman Nee, with special attention to its impact on the Christian churches today. 

CHS571   THE CHARISMATIC MOVEMENT (2)
A study of the roots and development of the charismatic movement with its theological and sociological impact on the Christian churches today. 

CHS590   SPECIAL TOPICS IN CHURCH HISTORY  (2)
An in depth study related to church history, under the guidance of an instructor.
