董事會重大宣佈
親愛的正道夥伴：
我懷著無比的喜悅，代表正道福音神學院董事會，宣布一項重要消息。經過多方的諮詢、深入的禱告與考量之後，我們很高興地歡迎神學院下一任院長——王炳欽牧師（Dr. Benson Wang）。他將於2026年1月1日正式就任。
王炳欽牧師是一位以基督為中心的神僕，擁有三十年事奉與神學教育經驗。自2012年起，他擔任洛杉磯台福基督教會（EFC-LA）的主任牧師，帶領一間充滿活力、多語言多族裔的教會，積極推展上帝國度的事工。此外，作為正道福音神學院的一員，他曾擔任兼職教授長達十一年，參與培育塑造無數投入教會事奉和傳福音的學生。
王牧師擁有克萊蒙特研究大學（Claremont Graduate University）基督教會史哲學博士學位及正道福音神學院的道學碩士學位。他對培養積極忠心的教會領袖滿懷熱忱，這正與我們「塑造神國使命僕人」的異象使命契合。我們相信他的獨特恩賜將引領神學院邁入新的紀元。王牧師兼具牧者心腸和學術資歷，他的領導將強化並擴展神學院的使命和影響力。
我們也要衷心感謝黃成培院長（Dr. James Hwang）自2021年起牧養神學院。黃院長是一位忠心神的僕人，我們感恩他這幾年來的服事。在完成本學年任期後，他將繼續於正道擔任宣教與實踐神學的助理教授。
此外，董事會已任命陳愛光牧師（Dr. Ekron Chen）於2025年7月至12月期間擔任代理院長。陳牧師自1999年起即在本院任教，擔任系統神學與實踐神學副教授暨神學碩士課程主任。他擁有南方浸信會神學院的基督教哲學牧師學位，以及達拉斯神學院的神學碩士學位。

Dear Logos’ Parner,
On behalf of the Logos Evangelical Seminary Board of Directors, I am pleased to share a significant announcement. After an extensive search, much prayer, and discernment, we are delighted to welcome Dr. Benson Wang as the Seminary’s next President. He will officially begin serving on January 1, 2026.
Dr. Wang is a Christ-centered leader with over three decades of experience in ministry and theological education. Since 2012, he has served as Senior Pastor of the Evangelical Formosan Church of Los Angeles (EFC-LA), leading a vibrant, multi-lingual, multi-ethnic congregation committed to advancing the Kingdom of God. He has also been an integral part of the Logos Evangelical Seminary community, serving as an adjunct professor for 11 years and helping shape countless students for Gospel proclamation and Church service.
Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. in History of Christianity from Claremont Graduate University and an M.Div. from Logos Evangelical Seminary. He is uniquely positioned to lead the Seminary into a new era of expanding ministry. His vision to equip faithful and effective leaders aligns with our mission to “Form Missional Servants for God’s Kingdom,” and his pastoral experience, academic expertise, and love for God’s Word will strengthen and extend the Seminary’s mission and impact.
We also extend our gratitude to President James Hwang, who has shepherded the Seminary since 2021. Dr. Hwang has been a faithful steward of God’s work, and we are thankful for his service. After his term as president ends in June, he will assume the role of Assistant Professor of Missions and Practical Theology.
In addition, the Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Ekron Chen, a Logos faculty member since 1999, to serve as Interim President of the Seminary from July through December 2025. Dr. Chen currently serves as Associate Professor of Systematic & Applied Theology and Director of Logos’ M. Div. Program. He holds a Ph.D. in Christian Philosophy from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary.
As a valued partner in our ministry, your support and engagement are vital to the Seminary’s continued impact. Please join us in prayer for Dr. Wang that as he leads Logos Evangelical Seminary into this new journey of Kingdom work, he may be guided by the Holy Spirit.
