Job Description:

This administrative assistant position mainly assists the Director of President’s Office in paperwork, correspondence, administrative tasks and coordination work of President’s Office.

Duties/Responsibilities:
including but not limited to the following
  • Assist the Director of President’s Office in paperwork, filing, scanning, composing and archiving records and reports.
  • Assist in compiling and updating the Annual Master Calendar, Policies and Procedures Manual and Chronological Events of the Seminary.
  • Assist in the regular incoming and outgoing correspondences and communication with internal and external constituents.
  • Assist in planning and setting up meetings (including virtual meetings such as via Zoom & BlueJeans) and appointments as well as preparation, coordination and post-meeting follow-up for President’s Office.
  • Assist in coordination with vendors on banquets, special events and conferences of President’s Office. Duties include reserving venues and equipment, coordinating logistics, meals catering, arranging necessary travel and accommodation, etc.
  • Assist in the purchases and reimbursements of expenses for President’s Office.
  • Assist in the hotel arrangements and logistic needs of President’s Office’s invited guests and speakers.
  • Assist in the research of materials and information for new projects of President’s Office.
  • Assist in planning and carrying out new initiatives of the President’s Office.
Qualifications:

A. Personal:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Adhere to Logos’ Statement of Faith.
  • Bilingual in both writing and speaking (fluent in both English and Chinese)
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Can handle proper communications and Internet data research
  • Ability to work with flexibility
  • Capable of handling Microsoft Office software tools independently (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Projects a professional image through attire, appearance and speech.
  • Maintains high ethical and trustworthy work and personal habits.

B. Organizational:

  • Able to plan, organize, and prioritize work in an efficient and productive manner.
  • Displays strong decision-making and sound judgment, good initiative and a thorough understanding of the policies and culture of the Seminary.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good teamwork spirit
  • Able to do event planning and meeting packages
  • Seeks to deliver good customer services.

Employment Date:

Immediately upon hire.
