PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Youth Ministry Responsibilities
o Provide a vision for the Youth Ministry
o Teach Youth Sunday School
o Lead Youth Friday small groups and other youth activities
o Recruit, train, and shepherd youth ministry adult co-workers
o Disciple and mentoring the youth
o Provide pastoral caring to the youth and their parents
o Preach at the English/Youth Sunday Worship services
• General Responsibilities
o Attend weekly pastoral staff meetings and monthly deacon board meetings.
o Occasionally preach for the Mandarin Sunday services (translator provided)
o Support and collaborate with other pastor, coworkers, and ministries.
o Report to the Deacon Board

QUALIFICATIONS

• Called by God to full-time ministry
• Obtained or currently pursuing at least a Bachelor of Bible Study degree from an accredited Bible college or equivalent as determined by the Deacon Board
• Has served in youth ministry at least one year, serving in English young adult ministry is beneficial
• Demonstrates an ability to work in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment
• Fully align with GCC’s Constitution and By-laws
