Chinese Community Church of Washington D.C. is a Christ-centered, multi-lingual, multi-generational church community located in Washington D.C.’s Chinatown. Established in 1935, CCC serves both English- and Chinese-speaking congregants, with a mission to know Christ and make Him known. The church offers bilingual worship services, weekly Bible study groups, and community outreach programs. CCC is seeking a full-time Mandarin and Cantonese Ministries Pastor who will provide spiritual and organizational leadership, pastoral care, and outreach to the local community. The pastor will preach the Word of God, shepherd the flock, equip leaders, and oversee ministry functions in cooperation with the pastor team and the CCC Board. The church seeks a pastor who can lead with humility, vision, and a heart for serving both the church body and the broader community. Candidates should be passionate about cross-cultural ministry and committed to fostering unity in a multigenerational setting. 職位概述：

Qualifications:
● A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear calling to pastoral ministry
● Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent from an ATS-accredited seminary or Bible college with regional accreditation
● Understanding of Chinese culture
● Experience in preaching, teaching, pastoral care, and administration
● Fluent in Mandarin and conversational in English; conversational in Cantonese, preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:
1. Preaching and Teaching
■ Proclaim the Word of God through sermons, connecting Biblical insight with cultural relevance to edify the congregation.
■ Design and lead Bible studies that foster spiritual growth and deepen Biblical understanding, tailoring lessons to the needs of different generations within the Chinese-speaking congregation.
■ Cultivate a strong emphasis on discipleship and prayer, inspiring individuals to grow in their faith and equipping them to proclaim the Gospel.

2. Shepherding
■ Provide holistic pastoral care to the Chinese-speaking congregation
■ Build and foster a multi-generational Chinese-speaking community
■ Develop support systems for those undergoing life transitions (i.e., youth navigating their faith journey, families facing challenges, or seniors seeking spiritual encouragement).

3. Community Building
■ Strengthen community ties by fostering connections within small groups, cultivating environments for meaningful relationships, and mutual spiritual support.
■ Facilitate prayer gatherings to encourage intercession and personal connection with God.
■ Nurture a sense of belonging for the Chinese-speaking congregation at CCC by promoting church-wide events.

4. Outreach and Church Activities Coordination
■ Implement outreach activities that meet the spiritual and practical needs of the Chinese-speaking community
■ Invite the unchurched to participate in CCC events
■ Lead programs that honor CCC’s cultural and generational diversity

5. Administration of the Chinese Ministry
■ Work with the ministry teams to oversee administrative processes, such as volunteer coordination, event planning, and budgeting for activities
■ Actively contribute as an ex-officio member on the Official Board and committees

6. Collaboration with the Board and Fellow Pastors
■ Ensure spiritual guidance, aligning with the church's mission and core values
■ Foster a shared vision of worship, mission, discipleship, community, and service
