Cleveland Chinese Christian Church (CCCC) is an independent evangelical church that proclaims the Gospel of Christ to people of Chinese heritage and others in Greater Cleveland. Our main campus is in Orange Village, Ohio. This campus has a Mandarin congregation and an English congregation with a full range of ministries from children to senior adults in both languages. Our second campus is in Midtown, Cleveland in the “Asia Town” community. This campus has one service in Mandarin and Cantonese, and other Bible study ministries in Chinese.

Youth and Children Minister

Full-time

● Primarily leading, coordinating, and promoting the youth program and overseeing the children’s program at our two campuses, including fellowships, activities, Sunday schools, and other special events.
● Recruiting, training, and supervising lay leaders to assist in the ministry.
● Developing a Children and Youth Ministry strategic plan that supports the mission and vision of CCCC.
● Fostering a strong education program through building relationships with students, teachers, parents, and church leaders.
● Communicating educational program updates frequently with the Pastors, Board, and congregation.
● Participating in preparing and developing the budget for the Children and Youth Ministries.

● Passionate for God, His truth, and His people and has a strong desire to nurture children and youth in the Christian faith, particularly in a first- and second-generation Chinese immigrant context.
● Self-motivated to generate new ideas and programs, values the concept of team ministry, and accepts suggestions from the Church Board and lay leaders.
● Must either have a college-level degree with an emphasis in Biblical education or be in the process of obtaining such a degree.
● Have 2+ years’ experience working with youth and/or children in a ministry setting; experience on a paid staff is not required. Knowledge of adolescent spiritual development is a plus.
● Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Mandarin language is a plus.
