Part-time

Purpose: To lead and oversee the ministry to middle school and high school students in the Chinese
congregation, and to foster spiritual growth, build relationship, and create a vibrant and engaging environ-
ment for youth to connect with God and one another.

Primary Functions
• Lead weekly youth gatherings and other relevant events that effectively engage and nurture the
spiritual growth of youth.
• Build meaningful relationships with youth and their families, providing guidance, support, and
pastoral care as needed.
• Work with the Chinese Pastor to recruit, train, and equip a team of volunteers to assist in various
aspects of the youth ministry, such as teaching, mentoring, event planning, and administration.
• Collaborate with other church staff members to ensure alignment of youth ministry goals with the
overall mission and vision of the church.
• Plan and execute special events, retreats, mission trips, and community service projects to help
youth develop a well-rounded faith.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about youth ministry
activities, events, and opportunities for involvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, involvement, and growth within the youth ministry
program.
• Attend the Chinese congregation’s staff meeting

目的：带领并监督中文堂初中与高中学生的事工，促进青少年的属灵成长，建立关系，并营造一个充满活力且具吸引力的环境，使青少年能够与上帝及彼此建立连结。

1. 主要职责
• 带领每周青少年聚会及其他相关活动，有效地吸引并培育青少年的属灵成长。
• 与青少年及其家庭建立有意义的关系，并在需要时提供引导、支持与牧养关怀。
• 与中文堂牧师合作，招募、训练并装备义工团队，协助青少年事工的各个层面，例如教学、陪伴辅导、活动规划与行政事务。
• 与其他教会员工合作，确保青少年事工的目标与教会整体使命和异象保持一致。
• 规划并执行特别活动、退修会、短宣旅程及社区服务项目，帮助青少年发展整全的信仰。
• 定期与父母及监护人沟通，使他们了解青少年事工的活动、事件及参与机会。
• 准确记录青少年事工项目中的出席情况、参与程度与成长状况。
• 参加中文堂同工会议。

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• To be able to communicate fluently in both Chinese and English.
• To be able to relate to and engage with youth in a relevant and relatable manner.
• To be willing to learn youth culture, trends, and challenges.
• To abide by, and be willing to learn, Reformed Confessions, viz., Three Forms of Unity.
• To model a life of godliness and humility as a servant-leader of Chinese congregation
• To fully agree with the vision and core values of the Chinese congregation.
