Established in 1989, Evangelical Formosan Church of Hacienda Heights (EFCHH) is located in the heart of growing Asian immigration area in the east San Gabriel Valley suburbs. Today, EFCHH has an average Sunday attendance of about 200 people and offers worship services in Taiwanese, Mandarin, English/Youth and Children, along with a variety of Sunday School classes to nurture believers in spiritual growth. The church prayer meeting is held on Wednesdays, and fellowship groups and bible study groups meet throughout the week, fostering mutual care and encouragement. The church has a strong tradition in Christian education. A series of training classes are offered throughout the year.

Overview 概論
The Senior Pastor will provide leadership, development and direction for overall ministry of EFCHH including Taiwanese, Mandarin, English congregation, youth and children ministry. The Senior Pastor will work with other pastor, Deacon Board members, fellowship and ministry leaders to oversee functions in:
• Ministry development – preaching, teaching, equipping (prayer, Sunday school, mission), evangelism, community relations
• Shepherding the flock – caring, visitation, counseling, discipleship, life-cycle ceremonies
• Church operation - administration, budgeting, finance, personnel, facility, safety

Job Descriptions 事奉工作職責
• Responsible for searching, developing and implementation of overall church vision and stages of action plans (short, intermediate and long term)
• With a deep knowledge in Bible to deliver scripture-based sermons with practical life applications.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff, lay leaders and volunteers
• Collaborate with congregational pastor, leaders and staff in strategic planning, ministry expansion and church ministry alignment
• Coordinate staff meetings, administer and manage ministry budget and support the planning of all-church events.
• Provide Biblical counseling and provide spiritual support and encouragement to all leaders and members
• Perform sacramental (baptism/confirmation, communion, etc.) and life cycle ceremony function (wedding, memorial, child dedication, etc.) and other responsibilities as required by the Elder Board/Deacon Board and EFC General Assembly.

• Meet and commit to biblical leadership qualifications for overseers (I Timothy 3: 1-7)
• Masters of Divinity (MDiv) or other equivalent degrees from EFC recognized seminaries or an accredited seminary
• 5+ years of full-time ministry experience in a Chinese speaking church or multicultural ministry churches
• Fluent in Taiwanese and Mandarin, both written and verbal. Able to communicate well in English.
• Familiar with Taiwanese, Chinese and American culture and people dynamics. Able to navigate and thrive in a bilingual environment.
• Skilled in delivering biblically sound preaching and teaching
• Track record in building, leading, and motivating teams
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

• 五年以上在華語教會或多文化教會的全職牧會經驗
• 精通台語與華語（口語與書寫），並能以英語良好溝通
• 熟悉台灣、華人與美國文化與人際互動模式，能在雙語環境中適應並發揮
• 具備扎實的聖經講道與教導能力
• 具備建立、帶領與激勵團隊的經驗與成果
• 在美國具有合法工作身分
