Russell Creek Chinese Gospel Church (RCCGC) is an evangelical Chinese church located in Plano, Texas, within the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. Our mission is to introduce people to Jesus Christ and help them grow as fully devoted followers of Him, glorifying God as a caring Christian community that shares the gospel and builds believers into joyful disciples of Christ.
RCCGC is a Bible-centered church committed to preaching the gospel, spiritual growth, discipleship, and community outreach. The church is governed according to biblical principles, with elders providing spiritual leadership, deacons assisting in ministry, and major decisions affirmed by the congregation.
Our congregation includes Mandarin-speaking adults, English-speaking youth and young adults, and children’s ministries. We offer Sunday worship services, Sunday School classes for all ages, and weekly fellowship gatherings that encourage spiritual growth and mutual care among believers.
The church is seeking an Associate Pastor for English Ministry who has a heart for discipling youth, young adults, and English-speaking believers and who will help develop a spiritually healthy and growing English-speaking congregation.

Associate Pastor for English Ministry

Position Summary: The Pastor is responsible for pastoring, leading, and developing the English-speaking congregation at Russell Creek Chinese Gospel Church. The pastor will lead English worship services, teach Scripture, disciple youth and young adults, and provide pastoral care while working collaboratively with church leadership.
The goal of this role is to cultivate a Christ-centered English ministry that helps youth, young adults, and families grow spiritually and actively participate in the life and mission of the church.

Ministry Responsibilities
1. English Worship Ministry
• Preach and lead the English worship service on Sundays
• Deliver biblically faithful and Christ-centered sermons
• Coordinate worship elements with volunteers (music, Scripture reading, prayer)
2. Sunday School Leadership
• Lead and organize English Sunday School classes
• Develop and implement teaching curriculum
• Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer teachers
3. Youth Ministry
• Help lead Friday youth Bible studies
• Disciple and mentor youth through teaching, prayer, and relationships
• Partner with parents to support students’ spiritual growth
4. Adult Bible Study & Discipleship
• Develop English Bible study groups for young adults and adults
• Establish a discipleship pathway to nurture spiritual maturity
5. Pastoral Care
• Provide counseling, prayer, and spiritual guidance to members
• Build meaningful relationships with individuals and families
• Support the spiritual needs of the English congregation
6. Ministry Development & Outreach
• Help grow the English ministry through evangelism and outreach
• Welcome and integrate new English-speaking attendees
• Encourage participation in ministry and service
7. Annual Activities
Coordinate or provide leadership for English ministry activities such as:
• Spring field trip
• Summer mission trip
• Dallas Chinese Christian Youth Conference (DCCYC)
• Other English ministry or church-wide events
8. Church Collaboration
• Work closely with the Lead Pastor, elders, and ministry leaders
• Participate in leadership meetings and church activities
• Support the overall mission and vision of RCCGC

• A committed Christian with a clear calling to pastoral ministry
• Agreement with RCCGC Constitution, Bylaws, and Statement of Faith
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience in Bible teaching, discipleship, or youth ministry
• Ability to build and lead ministries with volunteers
• Experience in youth ministry or English-speaking congregation ministry
• Experience serving in a multicultural or bilingual church context
• Theological training (seminary or Bible college) Preferred
