Announcement – LES 3rd President

正道神學院董事會一致通過，聘任黃成培牧師為本神學院第三任院長，於2021年7月1日生效。他將接任神學院現任院長林國亮牧師（於2014年7月1日起）一職。

黃成培牧師自2015年1月起迄今，擔任宣教與實踐神學助理教授。自2017年8月起，他曾擔任教牧學博士科主任。此前，他也曾擔任學務長（於2015-2017年間）和跨文化研究碩士科主任 (MAICS, 於2016-2018年間）。

黃成培牧師曾於密西西比州立大學取得電腦碩士、及企管博士學位，蒙召後他先後畢業於美國海外神學院 (道學碩士)、浸信會金門神學院 (神學研究碩士)、國際神學院 (神學碩士)、福樂神學院 (全球觀領導學碩士)、及正道福音神學院 (教牧學博士)。黃牧師於2009年按立為牧師。他和黃雲英師母曾在國際信心差會非洲內陸會（Africa

Inland Mission）擔任宣教士，並在肯尼亞的蒙惠聖經學院 Moffat Bible College任教10年（自2004-2014年間）。他們育有兩個成年子女（黃子安和黃章主）。

新任院長就職禮拜將於2021年8月28日舉行，歡迎蒞臨參加。

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF LOGOS EVANGELICAL SEMINARY has named the Rev. Dr. James Hwang as the Seminary’s 3rd President. He will assume the presidency on July 1st, 2021 and will succeed the Rev. Dr. Kuo-Liang Lin, who has served as the 2nd President since July 1st, 2014.

Rev. Hwang is currently an Assistant Professor of Missions and Practical Theology since January 2015. He also serves as Director of Doctor of Ministry program (DMin) since August 2017. Previously, he served as Dean of Students (2015-2017) and Director of MAICS program (Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies, 2016-2018).

Rev. Hwang graduated from University of Mississippi (MS, PhD), Overseas Theological Seminary (MDiv), Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (MATS), International Theological Seminary (ThM), Fuller Theological Seminary (MAGL), and Logos Evangelical Seminary (DMin). He was ordained as a pastor in 2009. Rev. Hwang and his wife, Antonia, served as missionaries with Africa Inland Mission and taught at Moffat Bible College in Kenya for 10 years (2004-2014). They have 2 adult children (Grace and Timothy).

Rev. Hwang’s inauguration ceremony will take place on August 28th, 2021. More details will be announced later.
