Speaker Bio: Dr. David Talley is currently a Professor of Old Testament (since 1998) and Faculty Athletic Representative at Biola University. He received his PhD in Theological Studies from Trinity International University and his life focus and calling is discipleship. He is the Pastor of Teaching and Theology at Cornerstone Church Long Beach and is a Board Member of several different missionary and pastoral training outreaches around the world. He travels 3-4 trips annually to equip pastors in northern Africa and underground church leaders in persecuted countries. Dr. Talley grew up in Alabama and likes “anything Alabama” but especially Crimson Tide Football! He has been married to his lovely wife Joni since 1984 and together they have two wonderful adult children, Amanda and Andrew, along with their daughter-in-law, Hannah. David enjoys fishing for large mouth bass, working-out, playing basketball and reading missionary biographies.
