王炳欽牧師出生於台灣台南，1986年自成功大學機械系畢業，1989年到美國留學，1995年自UCLA獲得材料工程博士學位，2000年自正道福音神學院取得道學碩士學位，同年起在美國洛杉磯台福基督教會（EFCLA）擔任華語堂牧師，並于2012年起擔任主任牧師至2025年，帶領一間充滿活力、多語言多族裔的教會積極推展上帝國度的事工。王牧師于2016年自美國加州克萊蒙大學取得基督教歷史哲學博士學位，從2004年起王牧師先後在正道福音神學院、南美神學院等神學院兼任講師，參與培育塑造神國工人。

Biography

Pastor Benson Wang was born in Tainan, Taiwan. He graduated from National Chien-Kung University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1986. He went to the United States for further study in 1989 and obtained a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from UCLA in 1995. In 2000, he earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree from Logos Evangelical Seminary. That same year, he began serving as the Mandarin Pastor at Evangelical Formosan Church of Los Angeles (EFCLA), later becoming the Senior Pastor from 2012 until 2025, leading a vibrant, multi-lingual, and multi-ethnic church that actively advances the kingdom of God on earth. Pastor Wang received another Ph.D. in History of Christianity from Claremont Graduate University in 2016. Since 2004, he has served as an adjunct lecturer at seminaries, such as Logos Evangelical Seminary and Servant of Christ Theological Seminary.
