Biography:
Rev. Xuan was born in China and has two daughters. In 1990, he was called by the Lord while studying at university, and taught Japanese at the university after graduation. From 1993 to 2008, he conducted discipleship training for college students in China. He established an urban house church in 2009, and has been promoting same-cultural missions and cross-cultural missions. During this period, he and his co-
workers planted several churches in China and sent more than 20 missionaries to Africa and Southeast Asia for cross-cultural missions. Since 2008, he has studied at Virginia Christian University and Taiwan Holy Light Theological Seminary, and earned two Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree. In 2015, he went to Logos Evangelical Seminary to study for Doctor of Ministry and also received a preaching at Fuller Theological Seminary.
After earned a D. Min. degree from Logos Evangelical Theological Seminary, in 2019, he as a senior pastor serves Agape Bible Mission Church and established a mission agency of Union Vision Mission in Los Angeles, continued to support cross-cultural missions in Africa and Southeast Asia, and mobilized missions in Chinese churches. He also serves as an adjunct professor in several seminaries to conduct mission’s education. He wrote a book called “Mission’s Ecosystem”. He is currently the director of MAICS at Logos Evangelical Seminary.
